Thailand is on Korea's list of K-ETA countries (allowed stay 90 days) and is not on the temporary exemption list, so Thai nationals entering Korea without a visa for a short stay, such as travel, visiting relatives, events or conferences, need a K-ETA before travelling. Some travellers are exempt from applying, so check the exemption criteria on the official K-ETA site, k-eta.go.kr, before you fly.
